Statut

2022 - ACT

The aim of this project is to orientate the main hall of the parish house towards St-Nicolas Street, while creating a sunken courtyard. By placing it at a distance, a continuity of use is established between the life of the Trinité neighborhood and the southern inner courtyards, mineral outdoor spaces facing the street. The parish activities are thus visible without being imposing.

Furthermore, the entrance hall is located at the level of the intermediate part of the parking lot, facilitating access to the ground-floor rooms for the ERP (Establishment Receiving the Public). The hall also serves the existing ground floor, opening it up to a future passage to the north.

The project’s approach is therefore to be implemented around the existing building in a humble manner, thus respecting the history of the parish. Here, we make an essential choice to propose a modest project.

Movement within the parish house is fluid, connecting all “essential” functions: spiritual renewal (prayer), fellowship (brotherhood and service), and education. This embodies a message of good news.
