2022 - Sketch

How to build while enhancing and preserving a beautifully wooded site? This is the main challenge of the reflections carried out on the Preux site. This urban project follows the Europan 12 project and is located on a site already partially built and occupied by social housing units managed by Atlantique Habitation, carrying urban development issues and projects (OAP, creation of a square, demolition of certain buildings, etc.). A diagnosis and feasibility study were conducted on this site. The latter aimed to propose construction axes implementing the identified urban issues, but also respecting the significant plant heritage of the plot. The proposed project is organized into 4 buildings, each fitting into an urban and vegetal sequence. The project proposes the preservation of as many trees as possible and respects their canopy to limit any risk of degradation. The housing units are thus nestled among the trees, offering large terraces open to the vegetation.
