A new urban space is organized around an inner garden. The layout of collective and intermediate housing units, with planted edges, structures the urban approach. The contrast between the boulevard’s scale and the inner block’s scale is embraced, harmonizing with Avrillé’s urban fabric. The façade, patterned with a lightweight metal mesh, accommodates continuous balconies, supports wooden blinds (installed at the balcony edges for distancing and solar management), and guides climbing plants along the façades. A differentiated element: a focal point of the project ensures a shift in volumetrics, accompanying access to the alleyway. It also serves as a botanical landmark in the visual axis of the Bocage path. The landscaping project creates numerous green spaces with diverse uses, contributing to the integration of wooded areas in the neighborhood.
